Our house in the winter wonderland!!

Jake and Ty got bikes and they ride them around the house all the time! I can't wait for it to get warm enough to go outside to ride. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

All the kids have had the stomach virus the first week of Christmas vacation but Jeff and I survived and never got it. I took my kids to the Dr today and now they both have strep throat! Im ready for all the sick to go away!! It's been a wonderful vacation but ready for warm weather and healthy babies!!

Tears and Relief

Tuesday night I cried and cried and cried because the boys were having their play at school the next day and I had to go to work. I tossed and turned all night and when I got up the next morning I said the HECK with it and called in a sub so I could take my babies to pre-school and stay for their program and party! And I am so glad I did!! Jake had the part of one of the 3 blind mice and it was just precious and Ty danced. I am frustrated that I have to miss so much because of work and because work is so far away. In the near future things are really gonna change so I can be with my kids! Here are a few pics from the boys program.

Burn Out!!

I am officially BURNED OUT!! I no longer have the flame to go to work anymore!! I wished I had a refresh button but I do not. I am in grad school, teach baton, mommy to 2 boys plus 2 more, wife, teacher, drive to work an hour to and from, and well I'm just tired!!!!!!! My patience is no longer there I feel like the joy in life has been sucked out of my by all of the demanding things I have to do. I am cutting down on my list of things to do I am not sure if it will be baton, grad school, or work, but one of them is going and going to go away very soon!! I need time for Nina!! I worry and do for everyone else 24/7 and I must take some time to take care of Nina (kids first)! If the kids are with the other parent I am doing grad work or baton lessons to make extra $$ to pay for the boys pre-school! Maybe I just need a vacation alone for the weekend!! What I would REALLY like to do is take a leave of absence next year to just be a mommy, that would be PERFECT!!! Too bad it will never happen in this life!! LOL!! Just to mention I am soo jealous of Julie Greenhaw right now because I am thinking that she is at home and I am stuck in this 4 wall building!! (love you Julie but so jealous *hehe*) All of you stay at home moms, I would do anything right now to be in your shoes!! I know that is hard work too but still you are with your babies!! What brings this all out is Jake will be going to Kindergarten and it is about to kill me! I can't believe time has flown this fast but it has and I feel that I need to be closer to home. So please pray that I find a job closer to home  or I win a billlion dollars so I don't have to work!! lol!! : )

Polar Express

Finally got everyone to sit on the stairs at the house for a few pics.

Everyone in their PJ's ready to go to the Polar Express
Waiting in line to get on the train

The crew!! 7 in all!!

There is nothing like seeing the excitement on the faces of my kids when the Polar Express pulled up! We had the best time but what was so exciting is seeing their sweet little faces when Santa arrived on the train. Ty decided he is did not like Santa he only like Mrs Clause!! But finally we got a pic with him and Santa while Jeff was holding him. If you notice Jeff kinda looks like he has been beat up he hasn't....he had eye surgery and his whole face is swollen and  bruised.  Oh and War Eagle!!!!!! I am soooo excited!!

Elf on the Shelf

Last night Jeff read the story Elf on the Shelf to all 4 boys. We sat in the living room while Jeff (very animated) read the story, you could not hear a pin drop the boys were so into the story. This morning the boys woke up to the Elf sitting in the upstairs living room by the tree watching their every move!!! He will fly to Santa each night to tell how they are all acting!!! I really love the book and it's amazing how they want to be good for the little elf!! : )
Each morning he comes back to a different location so they never know where he will be watching them!! I really think Jeff and I are having too much fun with this!!

Happy Thanksgiving and WAR CAM EAGLE!!

I have had the entire week of Thanksgiving off and it was a MUCH needed vacation. I got up all of the trees, cooked till I dropped, and spent some quality time with the boys. Jeff and I woke up early Thanksgiving morning because we were having the dinner at our house that night. He was on call so he had to go to the hospital and I got started with all of the cooking. He came back quickly and helped me the entire day, he was great at it too!! Thanksgiving dinner went great with the family, we ate and played family feud on DVD and had some great laughs. God has blessed me so much and I am so thankful for my family, my health, my fabulous friends, and I could go on and on...
The day after Thanksgiving Jeff and I got up to head to T-town for the Iron Bowl. I really saw how classy Alabama fans were throwing money at CAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I had my shirt made that said War Cam Eagle and had Newton on the back with his number. To say the least I got several hundred comments on my shirt but I just smiled and kept going. Just glad I was the one smiling at the end of the game!!!! We had a blast and all I can say is that it IS great to be an Auburn Tiger! We may be on probation for the next 15 years so let us enjoy lol!!!!!!!

Jeff is wonderful with Jake and Ty. He spends so much time playing with them. The boys and I are truly blessed to have him in our lives. Between Jeff and My Dad Jake and Ty have super duper male role models. They also spoil them very rotten!! : )
